Cattle Barons Ball

Last weekend we were blessed to attend Cattle Barons Ball, which benefits the American Cancer Society. It's a fun, laid back event each year that features a different country artist. This year was Dwight Yoakum. Apparently my man is a HUGE fan of ol' Dwight. Who knew?!?!?!

The timing was perfect because the girl was still at Church Camp #2 so we were without commitments for the weekend. :-)

A bunch of Tonto's co-workers were there as well, which was great because these events are always more fun when you know have some friends to hang out with...

The decorations were fun (an eclectic - think rose petals and hay)...

...and the centerpiece of the evening was an enormous arrangement of red roses in honor of cancer survivors...

Dwight Yoakum was great but I must say that I have NEVER seen men decked out in that many rhinestones. I thought I was over the top with bling but, y'all, I had nothing on these guys.

It was fun...

...and a much needed...

...time to just kick back...

...and enjoy life...

...with a bunch of awesome friends who have supported us greatly throughout the past few rollercoaster months...

We are incredibly thankful and blessed!
