Weekly Top 10

There are, in my true fashion, many more photos to come from vacation but I wanted to insert a touch of what's going on here and now so as not to make any additional retinas bleed this week.

Because I'm caring like that... :-)

Or maybe because they haven't all finished uploading. Take your pick.

Here goes...

1. The girl is out of the state with my parents this weekend. It's also Tonto's weekend off. And our anniversary is Monday. Can you say FREE TIME?!?!

2. Both our Midway and Baylor football season tickets have arrived so our fall and winter entertainment is basically in the bag. Between the two we don't really get out and do much else during this time of year...and I really wouldn't have it any other way, quite frankly.

3. My husband is absolutely NOT a fan of the Eagles; however, we watched their preseason game last evening so we could see former Baylor Bear, Danny Watkins (#63), in action. While the Eagles didn't have a great night, Danny was pretty spot on and didn't really get beat much throughout the game. Hopefully it's just the beginning of what will be an incredible year for the firefighter turned athlete!

4. The Puppy Posse has been soaking up having the family back together this week. They're all so spoiled there truly aren't words to convey it. Let's just say you'd have to see it to believe it.

5. Big Brother sometimes makes me angry. I'm a fan of Dani's while my man has decided he's done with the show entirely. Makes for some lively conversation! ;-)

6. Move In is complete at Baylor. I had the opportunity to volunteer for a bit on Wednesday and look who showed up...

7. Lots of changes that I had not anticipated at all seem to be cropping up right now. It appears that the new school year will look rather different than I had thought (from no dance lessons to changing Sunday School lessons and beyond...) but I'm really excited about it.

8. I came to the point on vacation that I realized our lives are vibrant and full whether we ever have another child or not. Though it's still something I want (a lot!), I feel great joy in knowing that my heart has healed a great deal over the past few months.

9. R went back to Dogtopia this week and I practically had to peel him out of the car. His anxiety quickly dissipated and he played his ever lovin' heart out the rest of the day.

10. As I left zumba earlier this week, this caught my eye. The photo doesn't do it justice as it was truly stunning. It was exactly what I needed at that moment...
